We made salsa two Saturdays ago. We've never made it before and were pleasantly surprised at how simple it is!
Most of the ingredients came from our garden with the addition of onions and jalapeño peppers from friend's gardens.
Brian cut most of the tomatoes while I cut the peppers and onions.
Note the number of drink cups I have...I see 5!
He also manned the stove and mixed everything together. We had enough ingredients for two batches of salsa.
It really wasn't bad with two people working together. Mason was here and there playing and helping.
I didn't take a picture of the jarred result, but we ended up with 20 pints. Not too bad for several hours of work! We're hoping to do another batch in a few days.
