Yesterday Mason made use of several "unconventional" toys. Interesting how this happened in one day, and he was loving each toy!
This Kleenex box was empty and sitting on top of the trashcan. Mason picked it up and loved putting his arm inside the hole. Then I gave him the idea to put his people and animals inside and take them out. He also tired to stuff his cup in the hole, but it was just a bit too big to fit!
Later, Brian brought home a big box of pork shoulder to smoke and Mason found the empty box and started playing. We pushed him back and forth between us - he loved it!

The third toy of the evening were the clothespins and ice cream bucket that holds them. He's played with these before, but was really going to town taking them out and putting them back in, and pushing them all over the floor.
He does play with his regular, plastic toys, but sometimes the unconventional ones are much more fun!
