Mason received Sammy (the dog) as a gift from his uncle, Neal after he was born. It's taken one whole year plus about two months, but Mason finally found him.
One morning Mason dug Sammy out of the toy box and lugged him around for the rest of the day.
Sammy had to sit lunch out because pizza and dogs don't mix.
He spent some quality play-time with Mason in the entryway. Mason had a thing for Sammy's eyes. He kept trying to put them in his mouth and pull them off.
Pure love!
They even took a spill or two together (as evidenced by the red right side of M's face) because, sadly, Sammy got in the way of Mason's getting up or down a step.
It's tough getting where you need to go with a doggy in hand.
On a walk.
Can I play basketball and hold my puppy dog at the same time?
Don't think so.
Sammy isn't quite a member of Mason's family yet. He's currently sitting on the toy bench, unnoticed yet today. It was a fun day while it lasted!

Looks like somebody needs a puppy.... :)
How cute! See if he makes the connection when he sees the real Samson in August!
