Sunday Happenings

Two Sundays ago it was our turn to be in the nursery at church. Mason had never stayed, but he sure had a fun time playing with mommy and daddy close by. We tried it again this last Sunday and he was happy (for about two minutes) until he realized that Brian wasn't there anymore. We'll just keeping practicing and hope that soon he'll enjoy playing rather than being uncomfortable all through church.

He could have sat on this horse all day! I think he sat in this position for about 20 minutes. He would bounce a little bit, but mostly he was happy to look around and listen to the books Brian was reading Juliana.

He's more excited than he looks, folks!

At one point we had four kids all within about three months of age. Caleb and Mason both needed me to hold them. It went pretty well and wasn't too crazy or sad!

Since it was such a nice sunny and warm day, Mason was able to roam outside for a bit. He enjoyed being pushed on his little scooter. He needs to learn how to make it go with his feet because the rest of us are going to experience back problems from bending and pushing!

Nice enough for ice cream from the Dariette. (Doesn't take much for us to qualify "nice enough for ice cream"...:).)

Trying on the froggy boots that Nonie bought. Too bad they are size 7/8. Maybe they'll fit better next spring for puddle stomping!

Check out that knee chub!

What are these things and why are they looking at me?!
