Easter Weekend

We had a fun and full Easter weekend! It started out with a brunch on Saturday morning with our small group. We met at the Shue's house for lots of food and an egg hunt.

Harper, Seth, and Sommer ready to eat at their table.

The rest of the kids and adults also enjoying food. We had two egg/breakfast casseroles, blueberry buckle, sticky rolls, fruit, yogurt, and granola. It was good and we were stuffed!

Brian reading to some of the kids while the other two dads hid the eggs outside. We were lucky to have a nice morning with no rain and warm weather!

Best picture of all 5 of the egg hunters.

Mason was the youngest hunter and didn't get it. Each child had their own egg color to look for. Mason's were blue and "hidden" in very obvious spots - as in the middle of the yard. Brian had to show most of the eggs to M before he even paid attention. He was just too excited to be outside and able to walk around.

Going for the egg. That's about as far as he got.

Seth and Harper looking and finding.

My cute little egg hunter.

Found another one.

Ate the treat (puff) inside and enjoyed the plastic shell just as much!

Everyone had 10 eggs to find so we were always counting to see how many more they were looking for. The older kids kept bringing me Mason's eggs because they were so obvious.

After the egg hunt the kids got out the bikes and trikes. It was so nice - warm, no rain, beautiful Spring morning to play outside.

Mason loved the playhouse, especially the door. He went in and out many times.

Why yes, feel free to wash my dishes!

He also enjoyed touching and playing with Starbuck, the dog.

Just his size!

We remembered to take a few pictures after church on Sunday.

We put the camera on the shelf to take a family picture. At least Mason's first Easter is documented! We had lunch with my parents, like usual, and enjoyed ham, potatoes, corn, salad, and apple pie. We had a great weekend with a great holiday to celebrate!
