Life Lately :: August - week three

Life lately, August, take three.
Not sure why he's laying on the floor, but he sure looks cute doing it. And always with something in his hands, specifically a tractor or truck.
Cute boy in a little chair!
Doing some indoor farming since they weren't with Grandpa at this particular moment. They'd both prefer to be driving the real thing.
I put the Cheerios on the toilet lid since he was hanging out with me in the bathroom while I was getting ready for a date with Brian. He was driving a tractor, then climbed on the stool and eventually made it to sitting on the potty. He's obviously quite proud of himself!
So excited to be close to the railroad track when a train went by. Now if only he could be so excited about hearing a train while he's sleeping at Nonie and Grandpa's house...
Snuggle session and book before going home on a Sunday evening. Micah looks like he's doing his best to escape despite Grandpa's arms keeping him down.
Love sneaking in to find a quiet boy happily reading to himself.
Because standing on top of the train table is much more fun and rewarding than driving trains on the table!
Being silly in Mason's bed before nap time is much more fun than taking part in said nap time! Love seeing the joy on their faces when they know they're having fun together and mommy is entertained!
Checking out the heifers in the pasture near our house. Micah is transfixed!
Snack time and a quick bike ride with daddy. Both Mason and Micah love riding in the trailer with daddy. Micah will sometimes climb in and wait for someone, even if a bike ride was never mentioned.
Given the opportunity, one will climb to where he wants to be.
A run with mommy in the stroller with the promise of a stop at the park is always met with excitement. Glad we can compromise so we're all happy!
A beautiful day means lunch outside on a blanket under a tree so we can be entertained by the traffic passing our house. We were soon chased in by rain!
Karey and Myah made a mound of all the excess fine gravel and dirt on the driveway beside their house. These boys (and Myah too) spent several evenings playing tractors and making roads in the dirt.
Band practice at church with daddy. Mason hasn't missed an opportunity to play with Brian and is always ready to go when it's time for practice.

Agree - love finding a sweet little boy quietly flipping through books!
