Life Lately :: August - week four

Life lately, August, take four.

 What started as a nice lunch at the Dariette with my parents turned into a painful goose egg for Mason. He was standing under the order counter at the window and stood up bumping his head quite hard. A kind employee brought a bag of ice to our picnic table for his head. After a few minutes he was able to enjoy his hamburger and milkshake, but the goose egg remained for a few days.

 How many times can I say it? We have some of the best neighbors ever! Micah only tolerates Myah babying him when it's to his benefit, like being pushed in the red car. And Mason and Karey just get along so well!

 More tractor driveway dirt time. Bath night for sure!

 Micah loves pushing any little toy like this! He makes it go where he wants, and when it gets stuck or is routed in the wrong direction he's quick to readjust it and continue on his merry way.

 Dinnertime on the patio is one of our most favorite parts of summer!

 A hot, hot day calls for water! These two played so nicely together chasing each other through the flower beds and playing with toys. Mommy just enjoyed watching them from the shade of the tree!

 A water table is such a nice way to get wet and play without having to go the work of getting out the big swimming pool.

 Mason is always, always, always ready to drive tractor and help with farm work.

 I'm not sure that Micah was going to have control of his own fudgesicle, but as it turns out, Micah knows what he wants and had to have full ownership of his treat!

 I got the exersaucer out for someone to borrow, and before it made it to the car for transport, Micah climbed in and got down to business. So funny to see him interested in something he long ago gave up in favor of other, more grown-up toys!

 Family night at Blossom Music Center...lots and lots and lots of families. It was a beautiful night for a picnic and Disney music played by the Cleveland Orchestra.

 Sandwiches and "picnicy" foods taste so much better when they're wrapped in plastic, packed up in a cooler and eaten from paper plates while sitting on a blanket on the grass!
