Memorial Day was forecasted to be a hot one and boy were they right! We didn't mow the grass on Saturday like we should have, so Brian got right to it on Monday morning. He mowed the back, my least favorite, and I relieved him and mowed the front. So glad we were done with that (hot and sweaty) chore by 10:30. Still had lots of day left!
Mason surprised me by getting himself up high enough to watch his daddy mowing.
Little monkey hung onto the window frame and stood on the baseboard. He even put both feet up on the wall in an attempt to get up just a bit higher.
After a bit Brian noticed us looking at him from the window and stopped to wave and make faces.
Look at those little big boy muscles!
After lunch Mason took a dip in his other pool - the blue one that's actually meant to be a pool.
Later in the day, after nap, he took another dip since it was still scorching hot.
What a smiley little boy!
Daddy enjoyed a little relaxing time in between making dinner - smoked ribs, pasta salad, corn and black bean salsa, and grilled potatoes. My parents joined us for a late dinner and evening relaxing. 'Twas a nice day to spend together!
