Here's what we've been up to in January, via Instagram!
Lots of snow and a little boy who loves to help his daddy, especially outside! He asked Brian for a seat in the snow and then wanted a blanket!
Excited for lunch on this particular day! He loves veggies and hummus. "What are veggies?"
Mason was so excited to help daddy "build" (assemble) a new organizer for toys. He's a big daddy's helper and LOVES to get out the tool box and help!
Saturday night supper - homemade hot pretzels and honey mustard sauce, veggies, and fruit. It was good, and a new "go-to" Saturday night meal when we don't have something else!
This is what you get when you mix sunshine, "warmer" weather, and a happy boy who wants to hit all the puddles...you're bound to fall off your trike into one.
Mason is full of ideas! Before he could sit to read bedtime books, he came up with the idea to have "hot cocoa", not chocolate (daddy). He had to help make it, and couldn't focus on reading books until it had cooled off enough to drink. Then he wanted to help mommy "write checks".
Fun morning at Kidron Park! We walked the trails and found plenty of puddles to play in!
It's a "hot cocoa" kind of Monday morning, by request of course.
Everything Rubbermaid is just the best (free) place to play on a cold January morning. It gets better each time we stop as Mason gets older and enjoys more toys!
Oh Spring, when will you arrive?
Pool party in Mason's basement! It was rowdy and fun and wet, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it!
Mason has a newfound love for strawberries. Just wait til June when you can have the real thing, bud!
Kidron Pizza ice cream...in January! Wishing for summer, can you tell? Mason thoroughly enjoyed it and would have gladly eaten more!
