Well folks, it's now November! Looking back through my October instagram pictures, the beginning of the month seems so long ago, as do the warmer temperatures and daily sunshine!
Mason (and mommy) had a fun playdate with Gretta, her mommy, and her twin sisters.
Daddy had a meeting right after work, so we rode trike to Lehman's. Mason was determined to ride on this pumpkin-horse.Last lunch at the Dariette with Nonie and Grandpa. Beautiful day for it too!
And the last time playing on the hill at the Dariette. Mason asking Grandpa to blow a grass whistle (because Daddy showed him a few days earlier), and singing Old MacDonald.
Since it was so nice and Mommy was feeling especially nice, we played at the Dalton park after the Dariette even though we should have been home napping. Mason's comment while playing, "This is fun!"
Big day one Saturday - Ohio State vs. Nebraska. Mommy dressed Mason, then left to run errands. I got a text with picture a few minutes after leaving...Brian had found a Nebraska shirt (a size to big, stored in a tote in the closet) and re-dressed Mason! Final note - OSU won.
Trying to soak up the beautiful fall days as much as possible...this walk at Kidron Park was perfect!
Mason is such a willing helper! He often remarks, "I'm being helpful!" This venture included the sink and water, so he was an extra willing set of hands!
The Park Committee erected a new covered bridge at Kidron Park and it is so cool! A Thursday shopping trip to Target and I landed in the (small) Christmas section. Made me a little giddy for the holidays, even though it was mid-October.
Family time at Friendly's is fun!
Happy 25th Birthday Joel! The Faithful Little Cupcake does not disappoint!
Snuggles with Nonie. They are short and sweet, and very coveted!
These two love going on Sunday evening adventures in Grandpa's pasture. They go "exploring"!
Reading the sports page. He saw Grandpa looking at it and was quite interested. Read it various times through the day and was very focused on the pictures and what people were doing.
Hurricane Sandy...you ain't got nothing on my Berry Banana smoothie!
Family popcorn night. Daddy told Mason is was "fresh popcorn", so that's what he calls it! (He found a popped kernel under the cushion a day later and ate it. He said, I'm eating fresh popcorn! Ha, not anymore sweetheart!
