Still catching up...but you already knew that!
We headed to PA back in June to celebrate Susie's 60th birthday. Mason finally went to sleep and slept for one whole hour - his normal max for a car ride.Upon waking up he requested a sucker. He still looks sleepy!
Hanging out with Mimi on Friday morning. Mason found this red tractor among the toys and became attached. The fun part is that it is a tractor that Brian and his brothers played with as kids!
And he also liked the big, rideable version of the red tractor.
On Friday evening (day before her birthday), our family ate dinner together at Apollo Grille in downtown Bethlehem. We took a few, nicely posed pictures before leaving. (I got accused of being like Grandma Kempf...excuse me, you'll thank me later!)
Mason did really well the whole time. We were seated in a corner which worked out perfectly because he was able to play on the floor. Good thing someone brought the red tractor along!
The waitress brought us this in honor of Susie's birthday. So glad she did because it was amazing!
We walked around the downtown area after eating. It was a beautiful evening to be outside!
Red tractor, making another appearance.
Neal's birthday was the day before (Thursday) so we celebrated with strawberry shortcake.
And Mason had his own cupcake. He ate it from top to bottom, in that order, leaving most of the cake for someone else!
On Saturday we went to Tim and Lisa's to see where Neal works and to get rides in the equipment. Mason was too scared to go in the mini-excavator with Neal, so Brian took him.
While Neal was doing a little work, we scoped out the equipment and took another ride.
In the evening we had a party for Susie with her family. Danette and Anya enjoyed the play-set!
Wonderful evening with great food celebrating a great woman!
Mason was such a nice cousin and pushed Anya on the tractor.
Need I say it again...red tractor.
Both in the same picture!
The second cousins (who were there) playing together.
Birthday cake made by Britney - yum!
These two had so much fun in the pool! Anya got so wet that she had to borrow Mason's clothes for the drive home.
They were being so sweet together...
Cuteness!
After church we celebrated Father's Day with a great lunch before leaving for home.
Getting a little play time in with Mimi quick before loading into the car.
Another one hour nap - this one was interrupted by very loud, deep rumble strips. Still not sure why there were so many and why they were so deep!
Watching movies to pass the time. We had a great weekend and were so happy to help celebrate Susie's big day!
PS - do you see it? The red tractor and wagon snuck into our car! Mason's been playing with it ever since!
