Wayne County Fair

I am a little behind in posting...The Wayne County Fair was a few weeks ago and we went and enjoyed all things fair.

On Sunday night we went with my parents and Mason got his first hand stamp and was comparing with Nonie's.  We walked around trying to decide what we wanted to eat.  There are so many good (but really bad) choices that it's hard to make a decision.  We settled on lots of different things and shared between the four (well, five) of us.

The main reason we went was because dad was set on taking Mason on the carousel.  We got enough tickets for Mason to ride the carousel and for the rest of us to take turns on the ferris wheel.

Waiting in line for the carousel and looking at all the lights and activity.

They picked out their horse and waited for the ride to start.

Mason was most interested in all the lights on the roof of the ride and the mechanism that allowed the horse to go up and down.  He looked up for most of the ride!

He actually looked right at the camera!

Watching Nonie and Grandpa ride the ferris wheel.

 So pretty at night.

They waved to us each time around and I finally got a clear picture - once they were stopped!

While Brian and I were riding the ferris wheel, a lady stopped and gave mom two tickets she wasn't going to use.  It was the perfect amount for Mason to take another spin on the carousel, this time with Nonie.

On Tuesday night we went again with Rosemary so that she and I could go to the Gloriana (country band) concert that night.  While we were there, Mason and Brian looked at almost every animal and did lots of walking.

We checked out a few more animals on our way out and Mason was very taken with the mini horses.  They were just his size, and so cute!  He's trying to convince Grandpa to put one in the pasture at his farm.

Was Mason very taken by the mini horses, or was it Jenna that was very taken? I think maybe it was the latter.
