Last Sunday, October 19th was Joel's 21st birthday. He was home on fall break from EMU, so we were able to celebrate with him.
After church, we drove to the west side of Cleveland to eat at Famous Dave's restaurant. Since it was Joel's birthday, he requested it, but none of the rest of us was too sad about his choice! We got the meal that serves five and comes out on a garbage can lid. It was wonderful and we polished it off!
We told the waitress that it was Joel's birthday, and they brought him this ice cream sundae and sang to him. :)
At home opening presents - book, shirt, and new tennis shoes.
We celebrated again in the evening with the Kratzers. We roasted hot dogs at mom & dad's fire pit and enjoyed a nice fall evening.
Then we sang to him and enjoyed this ice cream cake. Happy birthday Joel! Glad we were able to celebrate with you! The last 21 years with you have been great - looking forward to more! Love ya!
