Micah Jude: Two Months

Sorry for the blogging hiatus...not enough time and not enough hard drive on my laptop to store all the pictures and video created this break in blogging.  With a new {huge!} external hard drive to store pictures, we're back in business!  Guess that doesn't solve the "not enough time" problem though...

Micah Jude, how is it that you are {more than} two months old already {as of July 30}!?! I find myself realizing how quickly the summer is going by checking off each week of your life! Both are going too fast!
You are such a pleasant baby right now!  We've made it through the two month growth spurt and you're showing signs of a little more chub on your face and legs, and {hopefully} back to a better napping pattern.
You love to lay on the ground and kick your legs and flail your arms.  You smile easily and love to talk!  You love to watch your brother play and jump around you.  We just hope he doesn't get too close with his entertainment!   You also like to lay on the play mat and stare at the faces of the animals that hang above you.
You're really working on your neck, shoulder, and core muscles right now.  You're getting pretty good at holding your head and supporting your upper body, but occasionally take a dive off the shoulder your hanging on to.  You like to stand and bob your head about!
You like to lay like this on your tummy for a short time, but prefer laying on your back so you can look around and take in the sites.
A rare picture of you and mommy together!  I was outside taking pictures of you and Krista, our neighbor, came over and offered to take a few of us together!

Two month stats:
-Weighs 11 pounds, 5 ounces and is 23 inches long. {26th percentile for weight and 48th percentile for length}. (Very similar to big brother, Mason who was 11 pounds, 6.5 oz and 22.5 inches long {43 percentile for weight and 34 percentile for length}).
-Wearing size 1 diapers, but thinking they're getting a little on the small side.
-Wearing 3 month or 0-3 month clothes.
-Sleeping for an 8-9 hour stretch at night.  Still getting up once a night, usually around 5:30-6:00 after going down for the night around 9. We're getting closer to sleeping until the desired time of 7:30, which I'm sure will come with time (and not getting up at night!).
-Still napping for about 1.5 hours, and eats every 3 hours unless going through a growth spurt and then it's about every 2.5 hours, or less! Had a few days of very short naps and more fussiness, but hopefully that's past us (until the next spurt!).
-Got three shots and one oral vaccine at two month doctor appointment on July 31.  Cried a little but calmed down pretty quickly.  Then was pretty sleepy the rest of the day!
-Happy and content little guy!
