The Arboretum

Back at the beginning of May we had a few beautiful days right when the crabapples were blooming.  Mason and I drove through the arboretum to see them on our way home from Wooster and then went with Nonie a few days later.
Someone remembered the fun play area and slide!
And wasn't hesitant to go down at all!
At one point he'd taken his Crocs off and went much faster down the slide!
Mason's watched the screensaver on Nonie's computer a few times and remembered that there's a picture of Grandpa resting/closing his eyes on this butterfly.  As we were walking through the gardens, he was looking for "the butterfly".  When he found he it wanted to sit like Grandpa did!
There are turtles and frog statues and they are just too neat for a little boy!
This was a Friday lunch picnic and we went back on Sunday for a picnic after church.  Mason was very familiar with each and every spot he wanted to see and took daddy on a little hike around the grounds.  It was a perfect time for the crabapples to bloom and we enjoyed the sunshine!
