Several weekends ago, June 10-12, we headed to PA. My mom went with us to visit her family and attend her aunt's funeral. It was nice to have an extra adult and driver with us. Brian took on the title of "entertainer" and kept Mason happy, laughing, and occupied while in the car.
Mason and Bobby playing on the steps. I guess you could say that Mason did most of the playing.
We spent Saturday relaxing, playing games, catching up, enjoying (my favorite) Rocco's pizza, and decorating for Brittany's surprise bridal shower. In the evening, after Mason's nap, we went to Ringing Rocks State Park. It was a nice hike and fun to hear the rocks that rang.
Lots and lots of rocks in a pile. Quite amazing how nature does these things!
Climbing around on the rocks. Some, as in Brian, ventured out quite far, but others, the smart ones, didn't go too far as we didn't to risk spraining an ankle or falling.
Dave and Susie checking out the cliff and little waterfall.
This tree grew right over the giant rock.
Mason really liked Samson.
He also felt pretty special driving Neal's truck. You can imagine the sadness the occurred when he had to go to another vehicle and sit in his own car seat.
Just relaxing on the couch before bed. Love my little diaper dude!
Of course I didn't get any pictures, but we did surprise Brittany on Sunday after church with a lunch and bridal shower. It was fun to see her surprise and shock as 60 people were waiting in the church fellowship hall. She got lots of fun gifts...can't wait for the big day in August!
