Here are a few pictures from this past week. Mason is growing and changing each day! We don't notice it as much because we're with him every day, but mom and Joel both said he changed from Monday (Memorial Day) to later in the week (Thursday).
Mason really likes this activity mat. I usually put him on it in the morning after he wakes up and eats. He'll lay there and play and talk to the animals and himself in the mirror for at least 30-45 minutes. It was a wonderful gift! Thanks Mimi and Grandpa Kempf!
Big, blue eyes!
He loves this position - froggy jumps still always calm him down. He's really trying to hold his head and he also "stands" up. He's been practicing the head holding a lot this week!
This is the sleeper Mason wore home from the hospital. He's getting too big for it now!
Sitting in the swing doesn't usually last very long. He's never been a big fan of it. I try it every week or so to see if he's interested, but it still makes him cry after about a minute or two.
On Friday afternoon Mason got his first professional pictures taken. Erika came to our house with several loads of props. I fed Mason and then got him to sleep. We then proceeded to take lots of pictures and pose Mason in various positions. I've seen just a few of the pictures Erika took and can't wait to see the rest!
Mason did so well - he slept most of the time and rarely woke up when we moved him. We did lots of moving! He was a real champ!
